Halina Rozpondek

Halina Leokadia Rozpondek (born May 25, 1959 in Częstochowa ) is a Polish politician of the Civic Platform (PO).

Halina Rozpondek attended the 1st general high school Juliusz Słowacki in Częstochowa. She then studied at the University of Wroclaw and graduated with a master's degree as a librarian . From 1973 to 1985 she worked for the Elanex company . She then worked as a curator in the main library of the Technical University of Częstochowa ( Politechnika Częstochowska ). From 1994 to 1995 she was director of the state archive in her hometown. November 1995 to 1998 Halina Rozpondek was city president Częstochowas. From 1990 to 2002 she was on the Częstochowas City Council. When she applied for a mandate in the Sejm in the 2001 elections , she received 6,503 votes, which was not enough for a place in parliament. In 2002 she entered the Sejmik of the Silesian Voivodeship with 13,480 votes . In December 2002 Halina Rozpondek was also deputy mayor of Częstochowa. Your application for a seat in the Sejm in the 2005 elections was successful with 9948 votes. In the early elections in 2007 she was able to defend her seat with 42,951 votes. Since 2005 she has been working in the Committees for Territorial Self-Government and Regional Policy and Cohesion with Poland outside the country . Her interest in Polonia is also reflected in her work in the non-governmental organization Wspólnota Polska ( Polish Community ). She has been a member of this for two decades. From 1993 to 1996 she was chairwoman of the local association in Częstochowa, became deputy chairman in May 2008 and from May 2010 to June 2010 she was acting chairwoman.

Halina Rozpondek is married and has two sons.
