action

Disa and Laban were just a happy married couple, the next moment Disa, in her 40s, is alone with her children because Laban left them for a new love and a new future. Disa is finding it difficult to live her own life anyway; the nurse is stuck in a dead end, thinking too often about others and too little about herself. Only in martial arts can she be completely herself. When she meets the unconventional, single parent, father of seven, Kent, she manages to break out of her routine with his help. He shows her how to enjoy life and take care of your needs first.

criticism

The film service judges that the comedy outlines "with warm-hearted gallows humor a psychologically finely balanced portrait that does not shrink from pathos and great emotions, but also leaves room for slapstick and socially critical tones". “The film is carried by its brilliant leading actress, who wonderfully balances the atmosphere between tragedy and comedy”.

Awards

The film won the audience award at the Hamburg Film Festival in 2014 and the Lübecker Nachrichten audience award at the Nordic Film Days Lübeck 2014 .
