Holdberg Castle

Haltberg is a district of the community of Scheuring in the Upper Bavarian district of Landsberg am Lech .

geography

The remote holdberg lies about four kilometers south of Scheuring on the eastern high terrace of the Lech .

history

The history of the hamlet is closely linked to the Castle Hold mountain . The current buildings represent the farmyard of the castle, which was largely demolished in 1808.

Haltberg was an electoral Bavarian Hofmark , in 1752 a Sedelhof is mentioned.

Attractions

The castle of the same name is located in Halteberg . The castle, first mentioned in 1260, was partially demolished in 1802-11.
