Zollhaus is a district of the community of Scheuring in the Upper Bavarian district of Landsberg am Lech .
geography
The Einöde Zollhaus is about two kilometers south of Scheuring on the east bank of the Lech .
The state road St2027 leads across the Lech directly south of the desert. A few meters upstream is the Lech barrage 19 - Schwabstadl .
history
In 1855 an iron bridge was built privately, after the blasting in 1945 it was replaced by a wooden bridge. Until 1965, customs were collected here at the customs house with the help of a barrier . The districts of Landsberg am Lech and Schwabmünchen , the Free State of Bavaria and the Ministry of Defense built a new bridge in 1965/66 for which no customs duties were levied.
In 2005 the bridge was completely rebuilt again.
