The Hamarglovene ( Norwegian for hammer cracks ) are an area of crevasses in the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . In the Mühlig-Hofmann Mountains they are located east of Mount Hamarøya in the lower section of Vestre Skorvebreen .
Norwegian cartographers made the naming and mapped it based on surveys and aerial photographs of the Third Norwegian Antarctic Expedition (1956-1960).
