The Hamburger Tennis-Verband e. V. (HTV) is the umbrella organization for all tennis clubs in Hamburg.

history

The Hamburg Tennis Association was founded in 1932. In April 1979 the first edition of the Hamburger Tennis-Zeitung appeared.

structure

The association currently has 34,704 members who play tennis in 95 clubs or departments on 899 courts, including 715 open-air and 184 indoor courts. This makes tennis the third largest sport in Hamburg after football and gymnastics. The HTV is a member of the German Tennis Association .
