The Tennis Association Niederrhein (TVN) is the umbrella organization of the tennis clubs in the Lower Rhine region and is a member of the German Tennis Federation .

The TVN operates a tennis center in Essen, which has one of the largest tennis facilities in Germany with 12 outdoor (sand) and 16 indoor courts .

history

The TVN was founded in April 1947 and is now based in Essen . However, the association was not registered at the Düsseldorf District Court until June 1955 . At this point in time, the association had already grown to 126 clubs.

The Niederrhein Tennis Association is divided into five tennis districts.
