Strategy concept and mission statement
strategy
In 2006 the Lower Saxony Tennis Association began developing a future-oriented strategy concept. Clear guidelines for the benefit of the members, for the benefit of the association and for the benefit of tennis in Lower Saxony have been established for the actions of the NTV within the next four years. After the merger with TV Nord-West, the concept was transferred to TNB and continuously developed.
Mission statement
A mission statement was also developed in the course of developing the strategy. The TNB sees itself as a company in this regard and wants to achieve this through detailed communication of goals. In addition, the mission statement is intended to create stronger identification. The guiding principle of the TNB describes not only the guiding principle but also the self-image of the association, the tasks and success characteristics, the goals and demands. The mission statement of the TNB aims to give all players in the clubs an overview of the most important goals, standards and principles according to which they act.
TennisBase Hannover
Since 2007 the TennisBase Hanover of the TNB has been a federal base for young and future professional players, which enables young people to participate in a school at the same time. The TennisBase Hannover is both the federal support point Hanover - one of four federal tennis support points in Germany - the state performance center of the TNB, a tennis academy and a boarding school.
The TennisBase cooperates with the German Tennis Association, the State Sports Association of Lower Saxony, the Carl-Friedrich-Gauß-Schule Hemmingen (an elite school of sports ), with the Olympic base in Hanover and the other federal bases.
