Hamish Stothard
Hamish Stothard (actually James Charles Stothard; * May 6, 1913 , † February 26, 1997 ) was a British middle-distance runner .
In 1934 he won bronze for Scotland starting at the British Empire Games in London over 880 yards and in the 4 x 440 yards relay. At the International University Games he won gold for England in the 800 m in 1935 and silver in 1937.
In 1935 he became English champion over 880 yards.
