Handball Oberliga Sachsen 2004/05

The Handball Oberliga Sachsen is the fourth highest division in German men's and women's handball. The winner of the season will be promoted to the Regionalliga Süd . The two relegated teams are integrated into the association league. 14 teams play for the Saxony Championship and for promotion to the third-class regional league. The leader of the table after the 26th matchday is automatically Sachsenmeister 2005. In the men's category, ESV Dresden and SG LVB Leipzig II rose from the association league to the upper league. LHV Hoyerswerda is relegated from the regional league. HSV Glauchau became the men's Sachsenmeister .
