Handball Oberliga Sachsen 2006/07

The Handball Oberliga Sachsen is the fourth highest division in German men's and women's handball. The winner of the season will be promoted to the Regionalliga Süd . The two relegated teams are integrated into the association league. 14 teams play for the Saxony Championship and for promotion to the third-class regional league. The table leader after the 26th matchday is automatically Saxony champion 2007. In the men's category, SG LVB Leipzig II and HSG Bautzen rose from the association league to the top division. HSV Glauchau is relegated from the regional league . The men's Saxon champion was the ESV Pirna locomotive.
