Handball Oberliga Sachsen 2002/03

The Handball Oberliga Sachsen is the fourth highest division in German men's and women's handball. The winner of the season will be promoted to the Regionalliga Mitte . The two relegated teams are integrated into the association league. 14 teams play for the Saxony Championship and for promotion to the third-class regional league. The leader of the table after the 26th matchday is automatically Sachsenmeister 2003. In the men's category, the ZHC miner's lamp and HVH Kamenz rose from the association league to the upper league. In the 2002/03 season there was no Saxon relegated from the regional league. The men's Sachsenmeister was the SG LVB Leipzig .
