Life
In 2014, Periplaneta published his first collection of texts entitled Rausch-Hour , followed two years later by his debut novel Behave yourself inconspicuously . He is often assisted in his readings by a sound designer friend, PolyDil. In 2013 he organized the multimedia vernissage Lytropolis in Wuppertal, a mixture of reading, light show and exhibition. In the same year, Zerbolesch, together with Michel Kühn, Johannes Floehr and Lisa Schøyen, who were also involved in Lytropolis , were responsible for the podcasting project " Podcastpoesie ", in which a new slam text by a well-known slam poet was put online every week . Working with said colleagues, two live radio plays, Die Zeitmaschine and Das Rätsel über das Lost Pep , were created, for whose scripts Zerbolesch is responsible. Other speakers were Michael Heide and David Becher (on Die Zeitmaschine ) from the full playback theater .
For some time Zerbolesch performed successfully in poetry slams and was able to qualify several times for the North Rhine-Westphalian championships, the NRW Slam .
His stage name pays homage to Charles Bukowski .
Hank Zerbolesch lives and works in Wuppertal, where he designs and curates various literary formats.
