Hanna Bredal Oftedal (born July 4, 1994 in Oslo , Norway ) is a former Norwegian handball player .

Career

Oftedal played for Helset IF until the summer of 2011, but also ran eight times for the Norwegian first division club Stabæk Håndball in the 2010/11 season . Afterwards, the backcourt player only went hunting for goals for Stabæk, with whom she took part in the European Cup Winners' Cup in the 2012/13 and 2013/14 seasons . In the summer of 2014 she joined the French first division club Issy Paris Hand , who renamed itself Paris 92 in 2018 . For the 2019/20 season she moved to the Danish first division club Silkeborg-Voel KFUM . In November 2019, she ended her career due to an injury.

Oftedal went through all Norwegian youth teams. She took third place with Norway at the 2011 U-17 European Championship , third place at the 2012 U-18 World Championship , fourth place at the 2013 U-19 European Championship and ninth place at the U-20 World Championship 2014 . On June 5, 2014, she played a game for the Norwegian B national team, in which she scored three goals. She made her international debut for the senior national team on June 15, 2017.

Hanna Bredal Oftedal is in a relationship with the Norwegian handball player Sander Sagosen . Her sister Stine Bredal Oftedal also plays handball.
