Hanna Kiper , b. Baumgarten, (born June 7, 1954 in Hanover ) is a German educator .

Life

Hanna Kiper studied at the Lower Saxony University of Education , Hanover Department from 1973 to 1977 and completed her studies with the first and 1980 with the second state examination for teaching at primary and secondary schools. After working at schools in Hanover and Berlin, she began her doctoral studies at the University of Lüneburg in 1985 . In 1987, she was treated with a work on everyday theories and interpretation patterns Turkish children as the basis of an analysis of teaching materials and concepts of the example of the multiple Sachunterricht PhD . From 1988 to 1994 she worked at Bielefeld University as a research assistant . She was responsible for courses in the field of social science teaching. Hanna Kiper completed her habilitation in 1993 at the Faculty of Education at Bielefeld University. She received the venia legendi for educational science with a focus on school pedagogy. In 1993 she was offered a professorship for intercultural pedagogy at the University of Frankfurt , which she refused, and a professorship for school pedagogy and general didactics at the Technical University of Braunschweig , which she accepted. After working at the TU Braunschweig from 1994 to 1998, she accepted a position at the University of Oldenburg . From September 1998 until her retirement in 2015 she taught and researched at the Institute for Education.

Hanna Kiper has published publications on intercultural learning, social science teaching, questions of codetermination and participation (class council), teacher training and school pedagogy, general didactics and teaching theory, lesson planning and self-regulated, cooperative and social learning.
