Hanna Maria Yttereng (born February 20, 1991 in Trondheim , Norway ) is a Norwegian handball player .

Career

Yttereng initially played for the Norwegian club Klæbu and in 2006 moved to the youth department of Byåsen IL . In the 2008/09 season she ran for the first time with the women's team from Byåsen in the top Norwegian league. A season later she was under contract with the first division promoted Selbu IL . The cyclist then returned to Byåsen IL. In December 2011, the right-hander was loaned to the second division Utleira IL until the end of the 2011/12 season. After the end of the season she joined the first division club Levanger HK . In summer 2014 she moved to the German Bundesliga club SG BBM Bietigheim . In February 2017 she moved to the Hungarian club Kisvárdai KC . In summer 2017 she returned to Byåsen IL again. A season later, Yttereng joined the league rivals Vipers Kristiansand . With the Vipers she won the Norwegian championship in 2019 and the Norgesmesterkap, the Norwegian cup competition, in 2019.

Yttereng ran for the Norwegian youth and junior national team. With the junior selection, she won the European Championship in 2009 and the World Championship in 2010. Yttereng has been part of the women's national team since 2011 , for which she has played nine internationals so far.
