Hannah Gross

Hannah Gross (born September 25, 1990 in West Bloomfield , Michigan , United States ) is a Canadian actress .

Life

Gross is the daughter of actors Martha Burns and Paul Gross . She attended the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University , from which she graduated with a bachelor's degree. She also has a degree in religious studies.

Her acting career began in 2002 in the comedy Men with Brooms . In addition to appearances in films and theater productions, she can be seen in series such as Netflix's The Sinner . She became known to a wider audience in late 2017 through her leading role as Debbie Mitford in the Netflix series Mindhunter . She had a brief appearance in 2019 in the film Joker as the young mother of the protagonist.
