Paul Gross (actor)
Paul Gross OC , Paul Michael Gross (born April 30, 1959 in Calgary , Alberta ) is a Canadian actor, producer, director and screenwriter. He achieved international fame through the series " A Mountie in Chicago ".
Life
Since his father served in the army, Paul Gross grew up with his younger brother in many different places, including England and Germany. The family returned to Canada for good in the 1970s. After high school he studied acting at the University of Alberta , he left the university in 1980 to work as an actor. He later successfully completed his studies.
Paul Gross works as an actor, producer and screenwriter. For years he played the lead role in the Canadian television series Ein Mountie in Chicago , which made him known to a wide audience in Germany. In 2002 he made his debut as a director with the film Men with Brooms , which he produced and wrote the script for. In 2008 he directed The Field of Honor - The Battle of Passchendaele , in which he also took on the lead role.
Paul Gross has been married to actress Martha Burns since 1988 and they have two children together.
