Hanne-Martje Münther (* 1940 in Dessau ; first name also: Hanne Martje ) is a German artist.

Life

Hanne-Martje Münther was born in Dessau in 1940. From 1960 to 1970 she studied textile design in Kiel, art education in Mannheim and fine art in Kassel. After starting a family, she had three children: Thies , Jan and Julia. From 1975 her works were exhibited at home and abroad. She is a member u. a. in the "Forum Artists" From 1976 she enjoyed study visits to Italy, Brazil, France and Germany. Between 1973 and 2003 she worked in her workshop ateliers in Paderborn and Berlin. In 1983 she presented current concepts, objects and projects as a member of the artists in her domiciles in Wuppertal, then in Dörenhagen near Paderborn.

Münther designed sets for the marionette and puppet theater Seidenfäden . Her ceramics were described by Gerd Hergen Lübben in 2002 at her “Engel” exhibition in Petzow as “to see to show to look to recognize to understand”.

Hanne-Martje Münther has lived and worked in Glienitz in Wendland since 2003 .

In January 2010, at the opening of the exhibition BLAUPAUSE, the duo of their son Phantom / Ghost played “Relax It's Only A Ghost” with Münther's installation The Birth of Blue Break in Hitzacker .
