Hannes Arnold

Hannes Arnold (* 1953 in Füssen ) is a German artist and sculptor . He is a grandson of the photographer Bruno Arnold and lives in Heroldsberg near Nuremberg.

After training as a dental technician in Munich, Arnold studied goldsmithing with Erhard Hössle and sculpture with Wilhelm Uhlig at the Academy of Fine Arts in Nuremberg between 1980 and 1986 . In 1986 he became a master student and has been self-employed ever since . In 1995 he founded the Arnold + Eichler Atelier together with the artist Klaus-Dieter Eichler, which mainly realizes projects in the field of architecture-related art ( art in architecture ).

Arnold's objects are in many private collections. Atelier Arnold + Eichler has realized art-in-building projects throughout southern Germany, including many church furnishings .
