Hannes Held (* 1979 in Gelsenkirchen as Johannes Held ) is a German screenwriter and dramaturge .

Live and act

Held studied scenic writing at the Berlin University of the Arts until 2006, after which he enrolled for a degree in screenwriting at the German Film and Television Academy in Berlin . During his training he co-wrote the scripts of several short films , such as The Girl with Yellow Stockings (2008), Long Distance Call (2011) and Sweetness (2011).

With the script about the Russian online poker player Rustem, Held made his feature film debut in 2014 with the documentary player . For the feature film Casting , Held wrote the script together with director Nicolas Wackerbarth . Casting received three nominations for the German Film Award in 2018 .

In addition to his work as a screenwriter, Held is also responsible as a dramaturge and was involved as a dramaturgic consultant in the productions of Westerns and Die Einzelteile der Liebe .
