Hannes Kraft

Hannes Kraft (born February 19, 1909 , † January 8, 1983 ) was a German German philologist, editor and songwriter.

Life

He was the editor of several works by Gottfried Keller . He was a member of the Hitler Youth and the NSDAP . In 1939, together with Hubert Iven, he wrote Jungvolk experiences his homeland: a day out of a tent camp that was placed on the list of literature to be segregated after the end of National Socialist rule in the Soviet occupation zone . Together with Christian Jenssen , he published the anthology Die Schiffsglocke in 1943 on behalf of the High Command of the Navy . As a songwriter, he often worked with Gottfried Wolters , in whose courses he attended the Göhrde Folk High School in 1947.
