Hannes Metzler

Hannes Metzler (born May 20, 1977 ) is an Austrian mountain biker and national cross country champion (2009).

Career

Hannes Metzler is mainly active in the cross country mountain bike discipline , but also competes successfully in hillclimb and marathon competitions.

In January 2009 Metzler became Austrian Vice State Champion Cyclocross in Vienna (behind the Tyrolean Peter Presslauer ). In the same year he became Austrian Mountain Bike Champion Cross Country and a week later he became Vice State Champion Hillclimb in St. Gallenkirch in Montafon . In July 2012 he became Vice State Champion Cross Country - as in 2005 and 2006. At the Marathon State Championship he won bronze in Schruns just a week later .

In August 2015 he was able to win the M3 Montafon Mountain Bike Marathon again after 2009 (42 km with 1070 m elevation gain).

The technical draftsman Hannes Metzler lives in Wolfurt . He starts for the VAUDE Simplon Team .
