Hannes Wirth is an Austrian guitarist from Vienna .

Career

Hannes Wirth has been a member of Stephan Stanzel's band A Life, A Song, A Cigarette since the mid-2000s . He is the guitarist and second singer of the Viennese quintet. In 2008 he also became a member of the backing band of the songwriter Ernst Molden . A year later he and Molden, together with Willi Resetarits and Walther Soyka, recorded a joint album entitled Ohne di , which brought the two to the Austrian charts for the first time .

Five years later, the four musicians repeated their collaboration and recorded a second album entitled Ho rugg . It reached the top 10 of the charts in early 2014 and was the group's greatest success up to then. At the 2015 Amadeus Awards , they were nominated for an award in the Jazz / World / Blues category.
