Hanni Reinwald

Hanni Reinwald (born August 24, 1903 in Stuttgart , † 1978 in Munich ) was a German actress .

Life

The sister of Grete Reinwald and Otto Reinwald , who both also became actors, already stood on stage as a toddler and served together with their sister as a postcard motif. She was discovered for film at the age of nine and was an important child actress in German silent films in the period before the First World War . During the war, she was in front of the camera in Denmark while filming the production Proletardrengen (1916).

After the war she was seen again in German films, mostly as a supporting actress. She played her last role in 1929 in Roses bloom on the heather grave , after which she retired into private life.
