Hanns-Henning Fastrich

Hanns-Henning Fastrich (born August 23, 1963 in Duisburg ) is a former German hockey player .

Hanns-Henning Fastrich won the German championship in field hockey in 1981 with the Gladbacher HTC , in 1985 the Gladbachers took second place. The Gladbachers were successful in the hall in 1988.

The defender made his debut in 1984 in the German national hockey team . In 1986 he was part of the first DHB selection to win the FIH Champions Trophy , and a year later he helped defend this title. At the European Championships in 1987 , he finished third with the German team. The following year, Fastrich was used in two games at the 1988 Olympic Games and received the silver medal and, like all other members of the German Olympic hockey team, the silver laurel leaf. He played a total of 69 international matches from 1984 to 1991, 10 of them indoors.

After studying business administration in Cologne, Fastrich started at the Volkswagen group and gained experience in controlling there. From 1998 to 2018 he worked for the medium-sized family company Carl Kühne KG (GmbH & Co.) and since 2009 he has been responsible for the finance / controlling / IT department.
