Hanns Arnt Vogels

Hanns Arnt Vogels (born January 22, 1926 in Berlin ; † August 11, 2015 in Düsseldorf ) was a German entrepreneur and member of the supervisory board.

Life

Vogels studied metallurgy in Aachen. He had been part of the Böhler management team from 1949 and at Mannesmann and Rheinstahl from 1963 . In 1967 he received power of attorney from Friedrich Karl Flick . 1978 Vogels became personally liable partner of the Flick Holding . At the end of 1982, before fleeing to Austria, Flick Vogels resigned.

From 1982 Vogels was chairman of the supervisory board of the state-owned Deutsche Industrieanlagen GmbH . As of 1984, Vogels tried to take over DIAG from MBB as MBB CEO. Vogels was CEO of Messerschmitt-Bölkow-Blohm (MBB) from February 1983 to 1990 .

Vogels confirmed in 1989 that no conscientious objectors were hired at MBB . As MBB was taken over in 1990 by Daimler-Benz, bird joined the Supervisory Board of DASA . In 1991 Vogels was briefly at Soemtron , which was previously part of Robotron .
