Hanns Fischer (born July 26, 1865 in Dresden , † August 21, 1952 in Hamburg ) was a German actor.

Fischer began his career when Otto Brahm brought him to Berlin. He was able to celebrate several world premieres with Gerhart Hauptmann . Later he went back to Dresden, where he started as a director at the Dresden State Theater until he later also directed it. Most recently he worked at the theater in Hamburg, where he died of pneumonia in 1952.

For many years Fischer was an honorary member of the Northwest Regional Association of the German Stage Members' Cooperative.

Hanns Fischer was a member of the actor ensemble both of the Altona City Theater - on the edge of Königstrasse - and later in the "Deutsche Schauspielhaus Hamburg-Altona", which was then renamed around 1938. Hanns Fischer was an honorary member of the ensemble together with actress Anna Meyerer. In an unknown production he played the "Dusterer" in Ludwig Anzengruber's "Der G`wissenswurm".
