Hanns Rupp
Hanns Rupp (born July 7, 1898 in Kitzingen ; † August 1, 1971 in Mainstockheim ) was a German teacher and dialect poet .
Career
Rupp spent his youth in Mainstockheim. After training at the teacher training institute in Altdorf near Nuremberg, the school service took him to Kitzingen, Rödelsee, Albertshofen, Steinsheim near Memmingen. In 1937 he came to Göggingen. Until he retired in 1965, he taught at the St. Anna primary school in Augsburg . He spent his old age again in Mainstockheim.
In addition to his job, he worked as a dialect poet. His work includes around 40 printed works (poems, essays, ballads and short stories). In 1949 he was a co-founder of the Swabian home district .
