Hanns Ulrich Pusch

Hanns Ulrich Pusch (born September 14, 1917 in Kauffung , Silesia ; † June 19, 1984 ) was a German politician ( CDU ) and publicist . From 1958 to 1962 he was a member of the Landtag of Schleswig-Holstein .

education and profession

Pusch attended a reform high school and graduated from high school. He studied four semesters at the college for teacher training in Hirschberg in the Giant Mountains and in 1938 he passed the first and 1941 second exams for teaching at elementary schools . Pusch became a primary school teacher in the Potsdam district . During the Second World War he became a prisoner of war, after his release Pusch worked as a publicist. In 1948 he was employed by a publishing house, later he worked as an editor for newspapers in Essen, Mülheim an der Ruhr, Düsseldorf and Lübeck and was responsible for departments such as local issues, economics and politics. From 1955 Pusch was the full-time state manager of the CDU Schleswig-Holstein.

Pusch has been involved in the Junge Union since the late 1940s ; from 1949 to 1952 he was the district chairman of the CDU youth organization in Düsseldorf and Mettmann. From 1955 to 1957 he was deputy state chairman of the Junge Union Schleswig-Holstein. In 1957 he became chairman of the CDU district association in Lübeck. In the state elections in 1958, Pusch was elected in constituency 36 (Lübeck-Mitte) as a direct candidate for the CDU in the Schleswig-Holstein state parliament; he was a member of parliament from October 10, 1958 to October 26, 1962.

From 1954 to 1955 he was deputy chairman of the Schleswig-Holstein Association of Journalists. Pusch was a member of the Silesian Landsmannschaft .
