Hanns von Wulfestorff
The knight Hanns von Wulfestorff (also "Hans von Wulfersdorf") († August 8, 1504 in Sitzendorf an der Schmida ) was feudal lord in Sitzendorf an der Schmida in the western Weinviertel ( Lower Austria ) around 1500 . Under Emperor Friedrich III. he was captain, distinguished himself during the fighting with the Hungarian King Matthias Corvinus 1484 - 1487 especially from organized and 1484 / 1485 the defense of Vienna . He was richly rewarded for his services, held the office of royal council and in 1494 he was temporarily assigned the office of mint master in Austria . After his death, his son took over the rulership of Sitzendorf and sold it to the barons of Roggendorf in 1514 .
