Hans-Bernd Kittlaus

Hans-Bernd Kittlaus (* 1958 ) is a German computer scientist , entrepreneur , consultant , trainer, line and project manager and author .

Kittlaus studied computer science from 1977 to 1982 at the University of Dortmund . After working as a student at IBM and other companies, he started in 1982 as a researcher in the AEG-Telefunken research center in Ulm. From 1983 to 1994 he worked at IBM in Böblingen and Stuttgart as a software developer , project manager and manager. He was responsible for large software development projects and product management for an IBM mainframe operating system (worldwide) and for IBM's database and application development products (in Europe). From 1995 to 2001 he worked as a director in the IT center of the Sparkasse organization in Bonn, where he was responsible for large business process reengineering and development projects as well as the topics of corporate architecture , database marketing (CRM) and methods. Since 2001 he has been running his own consulting and training company, InnoTivum Consulting , based in Rheinbreitbach near Bonn . His work focuses on the interface between business and IT, especially in the area of ​​software product management.

Kittlaus is chairman of the board of the ISPMA (International Software Product Management Association), head of the software product management department of the working group software quality and advanced training (ASQF), as well as a longstanding member of the Gesellschaft für Informatik e. V. and ACM. He has authored numerous specialist books and articles and regularly gives lectures at conferences and universities and gives numerous training courses on the subject of software product management.

Parallel to his professional activity, Hans-Bernd Kittlaus has been writing articles about jazz for the Jazz Podium and other specialist magazines for more than 30 years .
