Hans-Carl-von-Carlowitz Sustainability Award

The Hans-Carl-von-Carlowitz Sustainability Prize is awarded by the “Saxon Hans Carl von Carlowitz Society for the Promotion of Sustainability” to people who have an impact on politics and society in terms of sustainability .

The price, a sculpture by Volker Beier.

The prize consists of a bust on which Hans Carl von Carlowitz is modeled on a base up to the middle of the chest. In addition to the base, a golden branch of leaves sprouts from the base on each side. The bust was designed by the artist Volker Beier . A certificate in a document folder is presented with the bust. He is undoped.

The award ceremony is part of the company's Saxon Sustainability Conference in the Chemnitz Opera House.
