Hans-Detlef Roock

Hans-Detlef Roock (born December 26, 1946 in Göhren / Mecklenburg, today: Malk Göhren ) is a German politician ( CDU ) and former member of the Hamburg parliament .

Life and politics

Roock completed training as a civil servant from April 1962 . In January 1967 he joined the German Armed Forces and was a professional soldier until 2000 and then as a pensioner a reserve officer in the Navy.

Since 1969 he has been a member of the CDU in the Hamburg-Altona district . Active in the party as chairman of the CDU district association Altona / Elbvororte and member of the CDU state executive / executive state executive.

Roock has been a member of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg since October 1997. As a member of this state parliament, he was a member of the urban development, constitution and special committee for administrative reform in the 19th electoral term. Roock is vice-chairman.

In the 2008 general election , he won the seat of parliament over the constituency of Blankenese . In the state elections in Hamburg in 2011 , he was re-elected to the state via the state list. In the 2015 general election, he ran for fourth place on the state list, but lost his mandate.

In 2010 he was a member of the 14th Federal Assembly .
