Hans-Dietrich Winkhaus
Hans-Dietrich Winkhaus (born July 16, 1937 in Münster , Westphalia ) is a German manager . From 2000 to 2007 he was President of the Cologne Institute for Economic Research .
Winkhaus studied business administration in Munich , Münster and Lausanne . He then worked as an assistant at the Institute for Banking Management at the University of Munich, where he received his doctorate.
From 1967 to 2000 he worked for the Henkel Group . From 1992 to May 2000 he was chairman of the board. From 2000 to 2008 he was a member of the shareholders' committee. From 2000 to 2003 he was chairman of the supervisory board of Deutsche Telekom AG .
He is a member of the New Social Market Economy Initiative and the Atlantik-Brücke . From 2013 to 2017 he was Chairman of the Administrative Board of CARE Germany and continues to be a member of the board of trustees for the aid organization.
