Hans-Günther Bierwirth (born April 15, 1922 ; † May 12, 1998 ) was a German architect and construction clerk in North Rhine-Westphalia .

Bierwirt worked at the Bonn State Building Authority and the Jülich State Building Authority , and from 1962 he headed the Bochum State Building Authority . His projects included leading the establishment of the Ruhr University in Bochum .

On August 1, 1975, he received the Federal Cross of Merit on ribbon. In 1984 he retired as Senior Government Building Director.
