Hans-Georg Kraume

Hans-Georg Kraume (* 1948 ) is a German historian and former head of the Duisburg City Archives .

Life

Kraume studied history and classical philology in Freiburg and Vienna . In 1978 he was at Andreas Gruber Hill at the Philosophical Faculty of the University of Freiburg with a thesis on The Limburger question in the German revolution of 1848 to the Dr. phil. PhD. Then he entered the higher archives service as a state archives trainee . As such, he initially worked at the North Rhine-Westphalian Main State Archives in Düsseldorf until he took part in the 17th academic course at the Marburg Archive School in 1979 . After passing the archival state examination, he was appointed to the City Archives Council in 1980. A. appointed. In 1996 the City Archives Council was appointed head of the City Archives Duisburg. He is now retired.
