Hans-Heinrich Scheffer

Hans-Heinrich Scheffer (born October 12, 1903 in Anklam ; † March 23, 1981 in Norden ) was a German politician ( DRP ) and a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament .

Life

After graduating from high school in 1922, Hans-Heinrich Scheffer joined the military as a professional soldier in April 1922, his last post in Jüterbog . He participated in the Second World War , and in 1943 he had the rank of colonel. He became a prisoner of war, after his release he went in search of his family, whom he found again in East Frisia. He then worked as a foreman for a construction company in Emden . From September 1946 to 1948 he worked as an interpreter at the Emden Wasserstraßenamt, and until 1951 he worked as a freelance businessman and sales representative.

From May 6, 1951 to May 5, 1959, he was a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament (2nd and 3rd electoral terms). From August 19, 1952 to March 18, 1953, he belongs to the Abgg. Büchler and Gen. from March 19, 1953 he was a member of the German Reich Party, from October 9, 1953 he was a member of the Mitte parliamentary group and from November 5, 1957 to June 2, 1958, he was a guest of the FDP-GB / BHE parliamentary group.
