Hans-Heinrich Stölzel

Hans-Heinrich Stölzel (born July 4, 1920 in Neukirchen / Erzgeb. , † July 2, 1981 ) was a German chemist , philatelist and local researcher .

Life

Stölzel was a chemist in the Karl-Marx-Städter district of Adelsberg. In his free time, from 1966 until his death, he headed the Saxon Post-Mile Columns research group, which was founded in 1964, and edited the research group's twice-yearly working materials (circulars), which reported on new research results and current changes in the number of postal mile columns. He was instrumental in setting up the first permanent exhibition, which no longer exists today, on the Saxon postal mile columns in Frohburg Castle .
