Hans-Jürgen Hielscher (born February 14, 1960 in Frankfurt am Main ) is a German politician ( FDP ) and was first district member of the Main-Taunus district from April 1, 1996 to March 31, 2014 . Life and work

After completing high school and military service, Hans-Jürgen Hielscher trained as a publishing clerk at the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung and then studied law at the University of Frankfurt . From 1982 to 1986 he was managing director of the FDP parliamentary group in the surrounding area of ​​Frankfurt and from 1986 to 1987 its press spokesman, then a member of the state parliament .

From 1985 to 1991 he was state chairman of the Young Liberals Hesse, since 1985 a member of the state board of the FDP and since 1997 a member of the executive committee. Public offices

From 1987 to 1996 Hielscher was a member of the Hessian state parliament , among other things as environmental and energy policy spokesman and parliamentary manager of the FDP parliamentary group.
