Hans-Jürgen Hielscher
Hans-Jürgen Hielscher (born February 14, 1960 in Frankfurt am Main ) is a German politician ( FDP ) and was first district member of the Main-Taunus district from April 1, 1996 to March 31, 2014 . Until June 2016 he was managing director of the Gesellschaft zur Recultivierung der Kiesgrubenlandschaft Weilbach mbH (GRKW) and Regionalpark-Pilot-GmbH.
Life and work
After completing high school and military service, Hans-Jürgen Hielscher trained as a publishing clerk at the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung and then studied law at the University of Frankfurt . From 1982 to 1986 he was managing director of the FDP parliamentary group in the surrounding area of Frankfurt and from 1986 to 1987 its press spokesman, then a member of the state parliament .
From 1985 to 1991 he was state chairman of the Young Liberals Hesse, since 1985 a member of the state board of the FDP and since 1997 a member of the executive committee. At the state party conference on March 14, 2009 in Hanau, he was elected deputy state chairman of the FDP Hessen after a candidacy to fight .
Hielscher lives with his wife Monika Echtermeyer in Ofterschwang in the Allgäu .
Public offices
From 1987 to 1996 Hielscher was a member of the Hessian state parliament , among other things as environmental and energy policy spokesman and parliamentary manager of the FDP parliamentary group. In April 1996 he took up his post as first district member of the Main-Taunus-Kreis . The district council of the Main-Taunus-Kreis re-elected him for a third term on December 10, 2007 with 46 out of 78 votes. As deputy district administrator , Hielscher was responsible for veterinary affairs and consumer protection , labor and social affairs and the environment and was a member of various supervisory boards.
He was a member of the board of directors at Taunus Sparkasse . From April 2010 to May 2014 he represented the state of Hesse on the ZDF television council . From January 2012 to July 2016, Hielscher was chairman of the "house of clean energy", an interdisciplinary network in Hesse made up of experts from the energy industry, medium-sized companies, Hessian universities, professional organizations, chambers of engineers and decision-makers from business and administration to implement the energy transition and promote the renewable energies and energy efficiency. Since leaving the district politics on April 1, 2014, until mid-2016, he was both managing director of the Gesellschaft zur Rekultivierung der Kiesgrubenlandschaft Weilbach mbH (GRKW), which finances the nature conservation education work of the Main-Taunus district in the Flörsheim-Weilbach regional park with income from gravel mining . and RegionalparkRheinMainPilot GmbH, which organizes and maintains leisure activities in the area between Hattersheim, Flörsheim and Hochheim. Hielscher has been a member of the Vorarlberg Mountain Guide Association since 2018.
