Hans-Joachim von Reichert

Hans-Joachim Ritter von Reichert (born August 1, 1903 in Speyer ; † February 15, 1991 in Starnberg ) was a German diplomat , most recently with the rank of ambassador .

Life

Hans-Joachim von Reichert joined the German Reich's foreign service in 1931 . He was accredited to the Embassy in Cairo in 1931 .

From 1934 to 1938 was employed in the Foreign Ministry of the German Reich in Wilhelmstrasse . From 1938 he was employed by the representations of the German Reich in Rome . In 1943 he served in the office of the Plenipotenziario Rudolf Rahn in Salò .

In 1960 Hans-Joachim von Reichert was promoted to ambassador and lecturing councilor. In 1961 he became the ambassador of the German government in Tegucigalpa , Honduras .
