Hans-Josef Hecking

Hans-Josef Hecking (born December 20, 1925 in Emsdetten ; † January 14, 2013 in Hanover ) was a German lawyer and banker in the management of Commerzbank .

Life

At Commerzbank from 1968 to 1990, Hecking was in charge of business with corporate and private customers in Hanover and large parts of Lower Saxony, as well as the branch in Hanover's Theaterstrasse. He was also a member of the supervisory board of Stiebel Eltron .

In addition to his professional activity, Hecking volunteered. From the founding year 1976 to 2011 he was chairman of the Friedrich and Dora Rauch Foundation in Hanover. In addition, he was President of the Hanover Stock Exchange , Chairman of the Friends' Association of the University of Music and Vice Chairman of the Institute of Lower Saxony Economy.

He was married to Marie-Theres († 2011). The couple had three children.
