Hans-Peter Burghof

Hans-Peter Burghof (born November 14, 1963 in Bad Kreuznach ) is a German university professor and holder of the chair for banking and financial services at the University of Hohenheim .

Career

After completing his Abitur in 1984 at Rhein-Wied-Gymnasium Neuwied and training as a banker , Hans-Peter Burghof began studying economics at the University of Bonn in 1988, graduating in 1993 with a degree in economics. From 1993 to 2002 he was a research assistant at the Institute for Capital Market Research and Financing at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich ( Bernd Rudolph ), where he completed his doctorate in 1998 and his habilitation in 2002 . From 2002 to 2003 he took on teaching positions at the Universities of Mainz and Hohenheim before he was appointed university professor and holder of the chair for banking and financial services at the University of Hohenheim in 2003.

In addition, Hans-Peter Burghof is the managing director of the banking industry foundation at the University of Hohenheim , chairman of the Hohenheim child and career association and the Stuttgart stock exchange council . He is also involved in continuing education and internationalization activities at the University of Hohenheim for the Stuttgart financial center.
