Hans-Peter Voigt

Hans-Peter Voigt (* 12. November 1936 in Winsen (Luhe) ; † 1. January 2014 in Northeim ) was a German politician of the CDU .

Life

From 1983 to 1994 he sat in the German Bundestag . From 1981 to 1986 he was the district administrator for the Northeim district . From 1996 to 2001 Voigt was mayor of Northeim . Until his death he was honorary chairman of the CDU district association Northeim.

At times he was also President of the Federal Association for Health .

Voigt had been a member of the Corps Suevia Tübingen since 1960 .
