Hans-Rainer Frede

Hans-Rainer Frede (born June 28, 1932 in Breslau ; † August 26, 2005 in Thale ) was a German lawyer and politician ( SPD ).

Life and education

Before he fled to Quedlinburg in February 1945, Frede attended school in Lauban / Silesia . He finished high school with the final exam in 1950. He moved to Hanover and later began studying law and political science at the universities of Mainz and Hamburg . He passed his first state law examination in 1954. This was followed by the second state law examination in 1959. Frede received his doctorate from the University of Hamburg with a dissertation on a criminal law topic and at the same time began a supplementary course in economics and psychology . He successfully completed his doctorate in law in the summer of 1961.

Career

Between 1960 and 1962 he was the personal advisor to the Lower Saxony Minister of Social Affairs Georg Diederichs and Kurt Partzsch . Between 1962 and 1963 he was seconded to the Alfeld (Leine) district . Between February 1963 and October 1965 he was seconded to the district president in Hanover . From 1965 to 1970 he was senior district director of the Zellerfeld district . Between 1971 and 1976 he was the district president in the administrative district of Lüneburg and subsequently worked as a lawyer .

Frede was a member of the ÖTV trade union and chairman of the local SPD association in Lüneburg. He was also chairman of the Lower Saxony State Tourist Association and also of the Tourist Association in the Lüneburg Heath. He was a member of sports clubs and the volunteer fire brigade.

Public offices

In the ninth electoral term, Frede was a member of the Lower Saxony State Parliament between June 21, 1978 and June 20, 1982. He was chairman of the Committee for Economics and Transport from September 15, 1978 to June 20, 1982.
