Hans-Werner Senfft

Hans-Werner Senfft (born June 3, 1954 in Warendorf ) is a German politician. He was a member of the German Bundestag from April 3, 1985 to February 18, 1987 . He was elected via the state list of the Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen (Greens) party in North Rhine-Westphalia and replaced Dieter Drabiniok in parliament.

Life

Senfft attended secondary school, after graduating from 1970 to 1973 he trained as a travel agent. Then he went to the technical college for economics and did his basic military service. When he returned, he began studying business administration and psychology in 1975, but dropped out in 1979 without a degree. He became a sales representative and was involved with the Federal Association of Citizens' Initiatives for Environmental Protection . He became a member of the trade union trade, banks and insurance companies and the German Federation for Bird Protection , the predecessor of the German Nature Conservation Union (NABU).

politics

As an environmentalist, Senfft was also a founding member of the new Green Party. After the Greens moved into the Bundestag in 1983, it was agreed to resign halfway through the term in order to allow another MP to move into the Bundestag. This is how Senfft entered parliament and replaced Dieter Drabiniok. Senfft was a full member of the Transport Committee during his short time as a member of parliament.
