Hans Ahner

Hans Ahner (born May 27, 1921 in Dresden ; † August 19, 1994 there ) was a German journalist and writer .

Life

Ahner was a military aviator during World War II . After the end of the war he became an employee at the Dresden aircraft yard and worked as a flight test engineer. He lived mostly in Freital .

Ahner was a passionate pilot and glider pilot. He was the author of narrative works and non-fiction books on topics from aviation and its history. He also worked as a journalist. Ahner died in Dresden in 1994 and was buried anonymously in the Heidefriedhof .
