Hans Czugczk

Hans Czugczk (also Hannus Czugczig, Czugczyk, Czuczk, Czutczk ) was an incumbent Dresden councilor and mayor in the 15th century .

In the 15th century, the family belonged to the influential families who owned large estates in the surrounding areas and were mostly involved in the cloth trade. In Dresden she owned a house on the corner of the Altmarkt and Scheffelgasse until 1502 .

In 1399 Hans Czugczk was a member of the Dresden Council for the first time. In 1412 he was the owner of the Heilsberg farm (in Hainsberg, now part of Freital). He is mentioned for the first time as mayor in 1404. He held this office again in 1407, 1411, 1416, 1419, 1423, 1428, 1432 and 1435. In 1436 he was mentioned for the last time among the Dresden councilors. His successor from 1437 was Peter Czuczgke, who owned the village of Kesselsdorf as a fief until it was sold in 1444 .
