Hans Daiber (Orientalist)
Hans Daiber (born April 1, 1942 in Stuttgart ) is a German orientalist .
Act
He was a professor at the Free University of Amsterdam until 1995 and has since taught at the Oriental Seminar of the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main .
Daiber is among other things editor of the Aristoteles Semitico-Latinus . He has also published a commentary on the Golden Verses in Arabic , probably a summary of Iamblichus ' lost work.
Daiber collected Arabic manuscripts and sold his collection in two batches (1986–87 / 1994) to the University of Tokyo.
