Hans Daniel Sailer (* 1948 in Leonberg-Höfingen , Baden-Württemberg ) is a German sculptor and painter .

life and work

Sailer studied from 1969 to 1977 with professors KRH Sonderborg and Alfred Hrdlicka at the State Academy of Fine Arts in Stuttgart . He then received a scholarship from the German National Academic Foundation until 1980 . From 1978 to 1987 Sailer spent a lot of time in Italy . From 1983 to 1984 he taught on behalf of Alfred Hrdlicka at the Academy in Stuttgart and from 1986 to 1989 at the Berlin University of the Arts . In 1996 he was visiting professor at the University of the Arts in Bremen .

The artist lives and works in Leonberg-Höfingen and on the Allenspacher Hof on the Großer Heuberg near Böttingen on the Swabian Alb .
